Junior School has had a great start to the year; students have settled in to their new classes - all named after native trees and shrubs and Junior School families have given generously to the toy and household goods drive to bless victims of the Victorian bushfires. Students have also enjoyed a mufti day, giving over and above the gold coin donation requirement to raise money for Flinders Christian School in the Gippsland area where the fires claimed several lives and properties.
Parents have also had the opportunity to meet with their child's teacher at the recent Information Evenings. These were a great way of getting to know each other and connect.
Year 2 - 4 had a great day at the Primary Swimming Carnival where many students not only showed great talent and ability but tremendous team spirit encouraging one another on. Well done to all staff and students on a fantastic start to the year! Mrs Karen Clifford, Junior School Welfare Coordinator
