Our littlest students had a visit to big school last week – and got to experience some big Science! Making the pilgrimage up to the Science Lab in Senior College, our Prep students got to dress up in lab coats and goggles and had an exciting Science lesson with Science Coordinator, Mr Seymour.
Enthralled students discovered amazing things about light and colours. Using light boxes and perspex shapes they explored how light refracts (bends) in different ways depending on the shape of the prism. They also split the light beam to form rainbows and Mr Seymour showed his youngest students some rocks that changed colour under ultra violet light.
How very exciting!
