Are You Completing Your HSC in 2016?

In 2016, the UOW is offering two programs through In2uni – designed to give you an edge in your HSC

Check out In2uni’s Year 12 Master Classes and University Preparation Program to find out which is right for you.

Summer Master Class

The Summer Master Class option is an intensive 3-week course held over the summer holidays. It is designed to provide you with an opportunity to get a head start in your HSC, and experience university life on campus by participating in lectures, tutorials and labs.

On successful completion of the Master Class program you will be awarded with

  • 6 unspecified credit points (the equivalent of one university subject) on your first year at UOW;
  • a guaranteed UOW Early Entry interview; and,
  • be eligible to apply for the $1000 In2uni Schools Partnership Scholarship when you enrol at UOW in 2017.

How much does it cost? There is a $430 application fee, which is paid once you have been selected to participate in the Master Class program. A number of free places are offered for students experiencing difficulty (application through UOW, eligible criteria apply, see website information).

University Preparation Program

The University Preparation Program is designed to ensure you get the best out of your HSC. Over two school terms you’ll receive tailored study sessions for your HSC subjects from an experienced In2uni Mentor, as well as further information on study skills, how to get into uni, and where it can take you. The sessions run over terms 2 and 3 in 2016 for 90 minutes per week. Dates and times provided on the website.  The program is free of charge and provides you with the opportunity to attend free study sessions for your HSC subjects.

On successful completion participants will receive:

  • a guaranteed UOW Admissions Interview; and,
  • be eligible to apply for the $1000 In2uni Schools Partnership Scholarship when enrolled as a full-time student at UOW in 2017.
