Introducing two of our new teachers

Each week we are introducing a couple of our new teaching staff.  We are excited to have 10 new staff join us this year.  This week we are meeting two teachers, Anouk Van De Put and Hayley Graham.

Make sure to make both of them feel welcome the next time you see them around the College.

Let’s get to know a little bit about them:

Anouk Van De Put

Tell us about your new role:

“I will be teaching  PDHPE in Years 7-10.”

Where have you come from and where have you studied?

“I’m from the Netherlands where I completed my degree to become a Physical Education Teacher. I also completed three years at Hillsong College, then moved back and did three years of teaching in the Netherlands. Since I came back to Australia 1 1/2 years ago, I have been teaching as a casual teacher here. I am very excited to start teaching PDHPE at Cedars.”

Tell us a little bit about your personal life:

“I love to be outdoors and go for a hike, swim, bike ride and camping. But I also love painting, gardening, pilates, music and reading. And to do all of those things with friends is even better! I got engaged last year, so we are looking forward to a wedding soon!”

What are you most looking forward to teaching here at Cedars this year?

“I’m looking forward to getting to know the students, staff and parents here and all working together as a team. Also, I haven’t taught at a Christian school before, so I’m very excited to share my faith and encourage/be encouraged in our walk with God.”

One fun fact about you!
