NSW Premier’s Volunteer Award

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”  – Martin Luther King Jr

Last Friday Mr Paul Scully MP visited Cedars and presented a well deserved award, The NSW Premier’s Volunteer Award to two faithful volunteers in our community.

Well done to Robyn and George Mills who have volunteered tirelessly time and time again at Cedars, Lighthouse Community Kitchen and other places in our community.

“We are very grateful to Mr Scully for recognizing our amazing volunteers. They do so much in the life our school and wider community,” said Principal Mr Steve Walton.

“This is a well deserved recognition for these two amazing volunteers who missed the award ceremony at Town Hall because they were actually volunteering at Cedars. So Paul Scully MP came to them.”

Congratulations to John Ford a long serving volunteer in our maintenance team who also received an award.
