Overcoming Obstacles through Physical Activity

Sport this term is all about using physical activity to overcome obstacles, challenges, learn new skills, team work, problems solving, creative thinking and perseverance.

Our Year 9 and 10 students have been taking part in a wide variety of fun, engaging activities including

“Our students are required to think and develop their team work as the rules continually evolve, the nature of challenge is changed and they are constantly looking for the best way to resolve the task. The emphasis is on getting involved and having a go at whatever we do – we want to celebrate movement and the capacity to use it to overcome challenges,” explained Mr Johnson, Director of Wellbeing and Sport Teacher.

“The students have been fully engaged and each one has been actively participating with determination and lots of laughter.”
