Shaping the Future of Australian Design

Our Year 11 and 12 TAS students recently embarked on a trip to the Sydney Powerhouse Museum (Shape 2016) to discover innovative projects from 2016 HSC graduates which are sure to shape the future of Australian design.

From amazing animations to inspired fashion, there were 36 exemplary projects from Design and Technology, Industrial Technology Timber and Multimedia and Textiles and Design which will help motivate and inspire our students as they prepare their own innovative works.

Students were also presented with seminars from HSC Senior Markers in both Design and Technology, Industrial Technology and given opportunities to talk with industry professionals and interact with their projects, machines and technology.

Our students are encouraged to use this experience to help further develop their own products and documentation for their Major Projects and inspire them to become men and women who help shape the future of Australian design.
