National Science Week is an Australia wide celebration of scientific endeavours and will be held at Cedars from 28 August to the 1 September 2017. This week provides our students with a range of opportunities to engage with experimental processes and real world scenarios.
This year the theme is ‘Future Earth’ which encompasses sustainability, energy conservation, agricultural mechanisation and water management.
There are many activities planned, and students are encouraged to get involved. Year 7 will participate in a Liquid Nitrogen show, Kindergarten to Year 4 can enter a Science Journal Competition (ask your teacher for a note), Year 8 are competing in a Science Fair and Year 4, 5 and 6 will be attending Physics lessons in the Senior laboratory.
It’s set to be an exciting week!
